Shipping Policy

Michaels Floats ("we," "us," "our") is committed to delivering your handcrafted inflatable pool floats safely and in a timely manner. Please read this Shipping Policy carefully before placing your order. By completing a purchase on michaelsfloats.store, you acknowledge and agree to the shipping terms described below.

1. Production Time

All Michaels Floats products are handcrafted to order. Each inflatable pool float is individually manufactured by hand with meticulous attention to detail. The approximate production time is three (3) weeks (21 calendar days) from the date of order confirmation and successful payment processing.

Please note:
(a) Production times are estimates and may vary slightly depending on order volume, product complexity, and material availability;
(b) During peak seasons (Memorial Day through Labor Day, Independence Day period, and holiday seasons), production times may extend by an additional five (5) to seven (7) business days;
(c) You will receive an email notification when your product has been completed and is ready for shipment;
(d) Production begins within twenty-four (24) hours of order confirmation and cannot be cancelled once commenced.

2. Shipping Time

Following completion of production, your order will be packaged and shipped within two (2) business days. Estimated shipping transit times are:

(a) Standard Domestic Shipping (Continental United States): Seven (7) to fourteen (14) business days from shipment date;
(b) Expedited Domestic Shipping (if available): Three (3) to seven (7) business days from shipment date;
(c) Alaska and Hawaii: Ten (10) to twenty-one (21) business days from shipment date;
(d) International Shipping: Currently not available. We ship exclusively within the United States.

3. Total Estimated Delivery Time

Based on the combination of production and shipping times, the total estimated delivery time from order placement to receipt is:

(a) Standard: Four (4) to five (5) weeks (28 to 35 calendar days);
(b) Peak Season: Five (5) to six (6) weeks (35 to 42 calendar days);
(c) These are estimates only and do not constitute guaranteed delivery dates. Michaels Floats shall not be held liable for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather conditions, natural disasters, customs processing, or other circumstances beyond our control.

4. Shipping Carriers

We ship our products via USPS, UPS, or FedEx, selected at our sole discretion based on package dimensions, weight, destination, and cost efficiency. We reserve the right to select the shipping carrier and method that we determine to be most appropriate for your order.

5. Tracking Information

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing:
(a) Your tracking number;
(b) The name of the shipping carrier;
(c) A link to track your package;
(d) Estimated delivery date as provided by the carrier.

It is your responsibility to monitor the tracking information provided. Michaels Floats is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged after delivery confirmation by the carrier.

6. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your shipping address, package weight, and selected shipping method. Shipping costs are non-refundable, including in cases where a refund is issued for the product under our Return and Refund Policy, unless the return is due to our manufacturing error.

7. Delivery Issues

7.1 Undeliverable Packages: If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect shipping address provided by the Customer, refusal of delivery, or failure to claim the package, the Customer will be responsible for re-shipping costs. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the Customer.

7.2 Lost Packages: If your tracking information indicates that your package has not been updated for more than ten (10) business days after the estimated delivery date, please contact us at michaelsfloats@outlook.com. We will work with the shipping carrier to locate your package. If the package is confirmed lost by the carrier, we will, at our sole discretion, either reship your order (subject to a new production period) or issue a full refund.

7.3 Damaged Packages: If your package arrives visibly damaged, please take photographs of the exterior packaging and the product immediately upon delivery and contact us within forty-eight (48) hours at michaelsfloats@outlook.com. We will assess the situation and, at our sole discretion, arrange for a replacement or refund.

8. Address Accuracy

It is the Customer's sole responsibility to ensure that the shipping address provided at checkout is accurate and complete. Michaels Floats is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the Customer. If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, the Customer may be charged a reshipping fee.

9. Signature Confirmation

For orders exceeding $150.00 in value, we may require signature confirmation upon delivery at our sole discretion. In such cases, the carrier will attempt delivery and may leave a notice if no one is available to sign. It is your responsibility to arrange for receipt of the package.
